Richard Ned Lebow is the James O. Freedman Presidential Professor of Government at
Dartmouth College and fellow of the Centre of International Studies at the University of Cambridge. He is currently an Onassis Fellow of Classical Civilization. His most recent single-authored books are The Tragic Vision of Politics: Ethics, Interests and Orders (Cambridge University Press, 2003) and Conflict, Cooperation and Ethics (Routledge, 2006). Recent co-edited volumes include Ending the Cold War (Palgrave, 2004), The Politics of Memory in Postwar Europe (Duke, 2006) and Unmaking the West:"What-If" Scenarios that Rewrite World History (Michigan, 2006).
