Teaching/Research
Dr. Jenkins specializes in the study of social movements, political sociology and social development. His current research projects include the World Handbook of Political Indicators IV, which is mapping conflict and violence globally; dissent and repression in the Middle East; international terrorism, political protest and democratization; the growth of the U.S. environmental movement; and state government high technology programs.
