Mershon Project
The completion of an academic training in a U.S. institution is the capstone of the Fulbright Scholarship in Conflict Resolution at the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding, Eastern Mennonite University. To fulfill this requirement, Tayah is spending six months at the Mershon Center because it can provide her with an interdisciplinary research experience in the fields of peace studies and international relations/security studies.

Most peace studies and conflict resolution programs (minors and majors) are hosted by departments of political science and international relations. Tayah is using her fellowship at the Mershon Center to develop three peacebuilding classes geared toward international relations students.  These syllabi will merge Conflict Resolution and International Relations paradigms.
