Paul McAllister is a 5th year Ph.D. candidate in history specializing in U.S. Military history. His advisors are Drs. Peter Mansoor and David Steigerwald. He is particularly interested in African American soldiers and his dissertation project examines their interactions with and contributions to the development of public health in the United States from 1914 to 1948.
