Benjamin Kenzer is an Ph.DĀ candidate at The Ohio State University with an interest in international relations, political psychology, and critical theory. His dissertation studies the impact of transnational police training regimes on free expression. In his study of the development of transnational policing norms, Ben mobilizes archival research and original data to chart the logic, impact, and dangers of global police empowerment. Ben has been previously published in International Studies Perspectives and The Monkey Cage. Ben received a B.A. in International Relations from the College of William and Mary (2014) and an M.A. in Political Science from Ohio State University (2016). He was previously a research assistant with the William and Mary Teaching, Research, and International Policy (TRIP) Project.
