2024-25 Funding Cycle Opens

Promotional graphic for The Ohio State University Mershon Center for International Security Studies announcing the 2024-25 funding cycle is now open.

The Mershon Center for International Security Studies announces the opening of its funding cycle for 2024-2025! The competitions, closing on February 1st, are for our Catalyst Grant, Faculty Individual Research Grant, Graduate Research Grant, and a category of support for recently tenured Associate Professors.

Please also guide your undergraduates to the Alger Peace and Conflict Resolution Scholarship call, due at the same time.

Scholars from any discipline are encouraged to consider how their research might shed light on the human, social, institutional, and other dimensions of international, national, and human security.

Those with questions should consult our main funding page to determine the appropriate competition for your purposes. We encourage advance consultation as you select the appropriate grant competition and as you shape your project. For conceptualization, please talk to Dorothy Noyes; for budget and logistics, to Kyle McCray. If you have a project that doesn't seem to fit these parameters, consult Dorothy Noyes.
