Research Initiatives

The center’s programming is currently focused on two interdisciplinary research initiatives: Centering the Global Peripheries, and Legal Geopolitics of the Oceans. Two Mershon senior faculty fellows oversee each research and programming area and are responsible for organizing events, workshops, discussion groups and administering grants.
