Jae Eun Jun is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at The Ohio State University, specializing in International Relations and Comparative Politics. Her research focuses on alliances, nuclear non-proliferation, and public opinion, with a regional focus on East Asia. She is particularly interested in the dynamics of U.S. alliances and nuclear non-proliferation efforts in the region.

Before joining Ohio State, Jae Eun earned a B.A. in International Studies from Ewha Womans University and a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Seoul National University, both in Seoul, South Korea.

Jae Eun Jun's Mershon supported research project is "Allies, Assemble! Or Abandoned?: East Asian Public Trust in U.S. Security Commitments in the Age of America First."
