Liuya Zhang is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science, specializing in International Relations and Political Methodology, at Ohio State University. Her research interests focus on public opinion on foreign policy, decolonizing IR, national identity, and stereotypes in international relations, with a regional specialty in the Asia-Pacific. Liuya also has a strong interest in incorporating innovative methodological tools such as machine learning, natural language processing, GIS, and network analysis into her research. Before coming to OSU, she got her B.A. in Korean Language and Literature from Fudan University, a Master of Area Studies (East Asia) from Seoul National University, and a Master of International Affairs from UC San Diego.
