The Taiwanese general election on Sunday, January 13th, is being closely watched, internationally as well as domestically. Join Reuters Taipei bureau chief Ben Blanchard for a roundup of the results and reflection on the campaign’s implications for Taiwan and the region. Ben has 20 years’ experience as a political correspondent for Reuters in its Beijing, Shanghai, and Taipei offices. Max D. Woodworth (OSU Geography and Director of the Institute for Chinese Studies) will moderate the discussion, hosted by Instiute for Chinese Studies and the Mershon Center for International Security Studies.
