Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

I am a PhD student with a keen interest in exploring the multifaceted history of Ghana's relationship with modern Turkey. My research is particularly focused on understanding the pivotal role of youth agency in shaping and influencing this historical narrative. With a focus on the diplomatic, cultural, religious, and sociopolitical aspects of these interactions, my current research explores the historical exchanges between Ghana and contemporary Turkey, where the active role played by youth agencies will provide a unique perspective on the dynamic of international relations and cultural exchange.
